Drum Cover by Brian, HeyDrum; Darlene by John Bonham

Hello all drummers around the world.
I'm Brian Kang, an amateur drummer.

This is my first drum cover, Darlene by Led Zeppelin from CODA that I've been dreaming of playing myself since I started playing drum.

Of course, it is still not a perfect play (especially, the most challenging part is to play on his feeling), but I tried to duplicate John Bonham's play as much as possible.

It starts with straight 8-bit rhythms, but interestingly transits into shuffles. We can hardly find such a rhythm change format in a recent music, but we can easily find that style in John’s other numbers, which was actually more popular at that time. The 8-bit rhythm part is uniso rhythm, marching together with guitar riff, which is very unique, creative and differentiate from a regular 8-bit rhythm. John is well know as a drummer who is very good at playing triplet on his own style. We can find that famous triplet in this number. The licks using triplet in this number are very unique, and really “John Bonham” itself.
